(My Trip My Adventure)
September 11, 2012
It was my first day in the USA, and I couldn't be more excited! I arrived in Chicago, a city I've always dreamed of visiting. The moment I stepped out of the airport, I was greeted by the bustling energy of the city.
My first stop was Millennium Park. Seeing the iconic Cloud Gate (or "The Bean") in person was surreal. The reflective surface of the sculpture was mesmerizing, and I spent quite some time taking photos and admiring the skyline reflected in it.
Next, I took a stroll down Michigan Avenue, also known as the Magnificent Mile. The array of shops, restaurants, and historic buildings was overwhelming in the best way possible. I treated myself to a delicious deep-dish pizza at Giordano's, which lived up to all the hype.
As the day came to an end, I walked along the Chicago Riverwalk. The view of the city lights reflecting on the water was breathtaking. I felt a sense of awe and gratitude for being able to experience such a vibrant and beautiful city.
It was a day of firsts and unforgettable experiences. I can't wait to see what the rest of my trip has in store!
